Finals Pickle, Kurddt, Pinkish What a banger for the finals! I've been riding the "pickle wins" train to a tie for first in pick 'ems, so I ain't stopping. All six permutations are quite likely, and that's just what I'd want for the finals. Round 4 Only winners advance, low quantity of matchups, but oh boy oh boy do they have some high quality. 1. Pickle MachWing Pokeguy The most volatile of the three matchups, since I don't really know what to do with this one, I'm going with pot order. All six permutations make sense in my head. Pickle, MW, Pokeguy 2. Shiru Ananan Pinkish They're all really good, Shiru has really shown up both rounds so far, so I'll pick him. Shiru, Ananan, Pinkish 3. Kurddt Snorms Juanly Kurddt and Snorms both really impressed me with their times last round, so credits to them. I think it's enough for me to pick Kurddt over a Juanly that I expected to dominate this tournament, but hasn't yet. Kurddt, Juanly, Snorms Round 3 Advancement is only the top 3 second place finishers this round. 1. Kukker Kurddt Roushmore Should be pot order, Kurddt should have a decent shot at semis, but I'll predict he falls short of whoever who gets second in race 5 Kukker, Kurddt, Roush 2. Pinkish Leaf Snorms Pinkish is way better than the other two. Don't have any good guess for who gets second, so I'll just go with pot order. Only one advances from this race. Pinkish, Leaf, Snorms 3. Shiru Headbob Amoeba Amoeba is picking himself to advance, so is he up to something? For now I'll guess no and stick to pot order. Headbob probably contends for advancement as well, but much like Kurddt I'll guess he falls short of the folks in race 5. Shiru, Headbob, Amoeba 4. Pokeguy Pickle Guillem I really want Pickle to win this one, and I think he can. Won't be bold enough to say Pokeguy won't advance, however. Pickle, Pokeguy, Guillem 5. Iron Juanly MachWing Despite his pre-tournament dominance, Juanly has had some really really cursed races. That won't happen twice in a row. (Right?) Also, Iron and MW back at it again with the hailless battle, Iron won the last bout so I'll go with MW this round Juanly, MW, Iron 6. Thunder Ananan Kadir Kadir's run ends here unfortunately. Honestly I don't have a guess as to who wins this, so I'll go with general track record and predict Ananan but still advance Thunder on time Ananan, Thunder, Kadir Predictions Pot 1: Shiru, Juanly, Kukker Pot 2: Pinkish, Ananan, Pickle Pot 3: Pokeguy, Thunder, MachWing Round 2 Simpler for advancement and seeding, all winners seeded higher than 2nd places, all 2nd places and no 3rd places advance. 4/20 - Lots of wording changes to my "analysis" 1. Kukker Headbob Odden I'm gonna pick Kukker this time for once, he plays too risky for my level of comfort but I can't deny he is really good at the game. Not to mention Headbob was totally out of form in round 1. Volatile enough of a matchup that I'm not comfortable with any prediction here Kukker, Headbob, Odden 5. Shiru JP Pickle First race for Shiru, but he's been doing enough R2 that he won't run it down. Pickle is by far the top Pot 3 racer, and he should beat JP out for advancement and challenge Shiru for first. Gonna be the best race in this round. Shiru, Pickle, JP 6. KR Leaf Kadir Definitely winnable for all three racers, so uh... I'll go with pot order I guess? KR, Leaf, Kadir 7. I know Blake has been learning the game these last few weeks, and he's done good stuff in other games. Sad as his luck has been so far, I don't think I'd count on him to die to 15/16 VR ranges, so I'll pick him to get second and advance. Iron, Blake, Danyal 2. Machwing ceegs LoveSickHero Machwing is the best of the three. He wins, not sure if I trust either of ceegs or LSH to advance, but I know both have been learning the game recently. In LSH's case, he gets held back by the fact that he runs the fire lizard, unfortunately. Mach, ceegs, LSH 3. Juanlyways Qpalz Its_shmo Juanly has been the best racer the last month, he wins handily. I'll give it to qpalz to take second and probably advance on time. Juanly, qpalz, shmo 4. Thunder_147_ Unfortunately, both Leaf and Zenaga dropped. That makes it easy on me though, I don't need to worry about picking this race anymore. Adding ceegs from race #2 to advance as Leaf's replacement in my predictions. 5. Pokeguy Kidrocker96 TecTecTecTec This race could get interesting for all the wrong reasons, but I think it'll ultimately be a fairly normal result. Pokeguy, Kidrocker, Tec x4 6. randalleatscheese AmoebaUK xxshuzoxx Amoeba and I have handshook on both going with Charmander in Round 1. (Obviously for him, that's what he would run regardless, but still.) Unfortunately for me, he is the better Char runner, so I'll pick him over myself. That being said, I still have enough ego to pick myself to advance by time :) NOTE: I will be honest and say I'm already considering going back on my word. Won't do that quite yet, but if I do, I'm so switching this prediction to myself. amoeba, me, shuzo 7. Kurddt Pickleplop Amazing 1v1. Picking pickle cuz he's one of the best racers, period. And regardless of whether it does it'll be the fastest heat overall. I would personally place PP in the top tier of racers right now, and he's only gonna improve by race time.
