Casual Pokémon FAQ Q. What are you doing? A. There's a lot of main series Pokémon games that I never played, so I wanted to go through and play them. Depending on how I like them, it may influence my speedrunning in the future Q. What games are on that list? A. I haven't played any Gen 3-6 games except ORAS, so basically that. I do want to limit it to games I own, so at the moment the list includes: Ruby or Sapphire Emerald Pearl Platinum SoulSilver Black Y Type !poll in chat to get a link to vote for the next one I'm playing Q. Are you doing a fake speedrun? A. Nope, I am purely going through the games "blind" as I would have when I was a kid. I'll probably look things up as I go, but there will be no speedrun strats involved here Q. What's your team? A. Probably the starter plus a few extra Pokémon to be HM slaves... yes this is how I played as a kid Q. A. I don't want to know. I want to try and figure the games out by myself, so I ask for no hints. It's very possible that I ask chat a question, especially in the games I know NOTHING about (looking at you Sinnoh and Unova...), but unless I do I'd like to keep the spoilers to a minimum Q. When are you going back to speedruns? A. I never quit speedruns! I'm doing this because of a number of reasons. First, I've never played these games so I'd really like to experience them, and doing it on stream is a good way to force me to do it. Second, a lot of these games I have been interested in learning the speedrun for, so this is a good way to familiarize myself with the game (mechanics, story, etc). Third, with my current schedule, weekdays aren't great for doing resets (especially of ORAS) so I think this is a good weekday and end of the stream kind of game
