- Fight Hiker

ROUTE 4
- Get Great Ball
***SPEAROW MANIP: Swap Great Ball to slot 2, then change options (F/M/On if red bar, M/M/Off if not). Save on tile before ledge***

CERULEAN CITY
- Heal to 28+ and change options in candy house
- Get Rare Candy

NUGGET BRIDGE
- WG x2 or PS x2 as necessary to save PP (ideally keep 2 MPs)
- Use 2 candies to reach L23 before NB4

ROUTE 25
- Fight Onix Hiker
- Get Ether
- After Bill, walk back to Cerulean

CERULEAN CITY
- Toss TM34 and Nugget on Misty heal menu

ROUTE 6
- Get hidden Full Restore

S.S. ANNE
- Teach Bubblebeam (and toss items if you haven't yet)
- Fight Gentleman (BB x2) and get Rare Candy

VERMILION CITY
- Trade Spearow for Dux
- Teach Cut and Dig
- Don't do cans manip
- After Surge, get Bike Voucher and walk back to Cerulean

ROUTE 6
- Get X Special

CERULEAN CITY
- Get Bicycle
- Swap bike to slot 1 (not 2), then teach TB and bike to Route 9

ROCK TUNNEL
***MANIP: Three A presses on first floor***

ROUTE 8
- Gambler: Thrash (can BB x2 if low on PP)
- Get underground Elixer

CELADON CITY
- Buy Fresh Water, then get Fly
- Fly menu:
	> Swap slot 2 item with Rare Candies
	> (Use a Potion)
	> Teach Fly to Dux
	> Fly to Celadon and walk to Rocket Hideout

ROCKET HIDEOUT
- Rocket 1: Thrash x2
- Go straight to Lift Key
- Rocket 2: TB x2
- Get the Lift Key
- Get the Rare Candy on the way back
- Right Rocket: TB, BB, TB+TB
- Left Rocket: BB, TB, BB
- Giovanni: BB x2, TB+TB
- Get the Silph Scope and hidden Super Potion
- Dig out and Fly to Lavender

LAVENDER TOWN
- Open the menu and:
	> Use an Elixer
	> Use a Potion/Super Potion, depending on HP
	> Bike to the tower

- Rival: TB x2, BB, Thrash, Thrash+Thrash
- Heal to 47+ HP

- Get both Elixers
- Skip heal pad
- Channeler: TB+TB

CELADON CITY
- Bike to the Snorlax
- On Snorlax menu, swap slot 3 item with Elixers

CYCLING ROAD
- Get Rare Candy from the right side

SAFARI ZONE
- Don't manip
- Get Full Restore, Gold Teeth, Revive and HM03
- Dig out and Fly to Celadon

CELADON CITY
- Use 4 candies to reach L41, then bike to Silph Co.

SILPH CO.
- Go to 10F
- Rocket: Thrash+Thrash
- Get Rare Candy and TM26
- Teach Surf to Squirtle and Earthquake over Mega Punch
- Rocket: EQ
- Get X Accuracy
- Silph Rival: TB+TB, TB, EQ x2, EQ+Thrash (range)
- Rocket: BB, EQ, BB
- Giovanni: EQ, TB+BB, BB, EQ (must get low red bar!!!)
- Dig out and Fly to Fuchsia

FUCHSIA GYM
- Juggler: EQ, Thrash x3
- Juggler: EQ x2
- Elixer before Koga
- Koga: EQ x4 (don't die to boom)
- After exiting, Fly to Saffron and bike to the gym

SAFFRON GYM
- Sabrina: EQ x4
- Dig out to Pallet

PALLET TOWN
- Use Ether on EQ, then bike to the water

ROUTE 21
- ***MANIP: Save on first water tile; 1 A press on second box in mansion; down after stairs***

CINNABAR MANSION
- Get Blizzard
- Get both Rare Candies
- Before getting key, teach Blizzard over Thrash
- Get Secret Key, then Dig out and Fly to Celadon

CELADON GYM
- Beauty: Blizzard
- Erika: EQ, Blizzard x2
- After exiting, Fly to Fuchsia

FUCHSIA CITY
- Get Strength, then open the menu and:
	> Swap slot 3 item with Rare Candies
	> Teach Strength to Squirtle
	> Use Strength
- Get warden candy, then exit and Fly to Cinnabar

CINNABAR GYM
- Blaine: EQ x4
- Dig out and Fly to Viridian

- Cooltrainer: BB
- Use 4 candies to reach L52 (can save 1-2 and toss item if it helps red bar)
