OMOTH CITY/ROUTE 2
- Head to Mart and buy 3 Potions
- Head north to Route 2
- Bug Catcher Russell: Psyshock x1-2
- Cooltrainer Victor: Psyshock, Psyshock
- Catch a duck
- Grab the hidden Rare Candy, then Teleport back to Omoth and head directly to the gym

OMOTH CITY GYM
- Youngster Wally: Psyshock x2-3 Skitty
- Heal if necessary
- Lass Lisa: Psyshock x1-2 Rattata, Psyshock x1-2 Sentret
- Heal to full
- Gym Leader Kristie: Psyshock Snubbull, Psyshock x2 Kecleon, Psyshock Minccino

ROUTE 2
- Use Center to restore PP, then head north towards Route 2
- Talk to cut tree, then your Rival will appear
	> Give Rival a 1-character name
- Rival 1: Psyshock Ducklett, Psyshock x1-2 Swablu, Psyshock Torchic
- Teleport back to Omoth, use the Center, then head east to Route 3

ROUTE 3
- Dodge all the trainers, grab Charcoal and head to Abyss City

ABYSS
- Head southeast towards War Party hideout, talk to guy outside and say yes
- Head straight to the gym afterwards
- Engineer Gary: Psyshock Machop, Confusion Mankey
	> Confusion Machop if 2 used on Swablu and battling Fin for 23
- Gym Leader Thomas: Psyshock Hitmonlee, Psyshock Hitmontop, Psyshock Hitmonchan
- Go immediately to the Mart
	> 5F: Sell Charcoal, buy 2 X Speeds, 6 X Specials, 1 Guard Spec
	> 3F: Buy Dazzling Gleam
	> 2F (bottom guy): Buy 3 Ultra Balls, 3 Super Repel
- Leave Abyss City heading north through Nettle Town, then head west/north through Route 5 until you arrive at Shadowfell
	> If Psyduck caught: catch Pidgey if you see one
	> If Ducklett caught: catch Gulpin, Snubbull, NidoranF or NidoranM
	> Pick up Route 5 Rare Candy
	> Grab Bulk Up

SHADOWFELL
- Talk to guy right of Game Corner, then enter Game Corner
- Go to northeast room, then turn on switch on right statue
- Pick up both Irons (first item and item right of scientist)
- Take elevator to basement, receive Rock Smash from Yokunai, head back to ground floor and leave hideout
- Exit Shadowfell, heading west to rocks
	> Teach Rock Smash to slave

ROUTE 6
- Use a Super Repel at some point (it's dependent)
- [Youngster Fin]: Psyshock
- Aroma Lady Adel: Psyshock Roselia

VIOLET CITY
- Head to northwest area and enter the Trainer Tower
- Use Rare Candy, use Super Repel, save
- Channeler Betsy: Psyshock Gastly
- Blitz to top, save before Gengar, catch it and name it a 1-character name
- Swap Gengar to the front of the party and use a Rare Candy on it
- Head to gym (southeast from tower)

VIOLET CITY GYM
- Take right pad
- Take right pad
- Take right-most pad
- Take upper-most pad
- Take upper-left pad
- Gym Leader Nicole: Shadow Ball Galvantula, Shadow Ball Zebstrika, Shadow Ball Raichu, Shadow Ball Jolteon
- Leave gym

VIOLET CITY/ROUTE 7/ALDER TOWN/ROUTE 9
- Head west, talk to Ray, get Surf
- Head east to Mart:
	> Sell 2 Irons, Buy 5 Hyper Potions and 15 Super Repels
- At water, use Super Repel, teach Surf, then teach Thunderbolt and Dazzling Gleam to Gengar (slots 1 and 2)
	> Keep Super Repels up for rest of game
- Surf north, then east to Alder Town
- Head north and Surf through Route 9 to reach Rantipole Town

RANTIPOLE TOWN
- Immediately go west and then south to the Rantipole Caves
- Make your way through the cave, go through the tile puzzle and talk to Yokunai
- Run to back room then exit immediately; leave hideout
- Once outside hideout, use Teleport, deposit Kadabra and non-Surf slave
- Head south back through Route 9 to Alder Town and head to the gym in the northeast area

ALDER TOWN GYM
- Take the upper right teleporter, then take the upper left (the same one you just appeared on)
- Gym Leader Ilsa: Shadow Ball Exeggutor, Shadow Ball Alakazam, Shadow Ball Bronzong, Shadow Ball Starmie
	> Thunderbolt Starmie if Gengar used Shadow Ball before catch/if <115 SpA
- Exit gym, head north through Route 9 to reach Rantipole Town, then head northeast to gym

RANTIPOLE GYM
- Surf straight to the leader
- Gym Leader Bruce: Send slave out to die, X Special, Thunderbolt Blastoise, Thunderbolt Feraligatr, Dazzling Gleam Kingdra
- Exit gym, then head east towards Route 10 and surf

ROUTE 10/JALOP TOWN/ROUTE 13
- Head east on Route 10 until you reach Jalop Town
- Once at Jalop Town, head south to the water:
	> Grab Rare Candy
	> Teach Strength to Gengar + use Candy
- Once on land, go to Center and withdraw other slave 
- Head south and east, picking up Fly from Ray along the way

NIGHTSHADE
- Buy 3 Revives at the Mart
- Head to Gym immediately
- You must fight all 3 illusions of the gym leader to fight the gym leader for real
- Jasper 1: Shadow Ball Golurk
- Jasper 2: Shadow Ball Chandelure
- Jasper 3: Shadow Ball Gengar
- Gym Leader Jasper: Shadow Ball Golurk, Shadow Ball Gengar, Shadow Ball Chandelure, Shadow Ball Gengar
- Exit gym, head to Feverfew Desert

FEVERFEW DESERT
- Go immediately left into the corner and press A to activate the flag
- Head west towards the cave entrance and receive Flash
- Head down and fight the Ranger
- Pokemon Ranger Gwen: Thunderbolt Loudred, Thunderbolt Kirlia
	> Shadow Ball Kirlia if Thunderbolted Starmie
- Head east then north, break through two rocks, then head east/north/west to Strength puzzle
- Make your way past Strength puzzle, take ladder up, exit cave, then head south to another cave
- Take very first entrance possible
- Head east past rocks and boulders, head south, then head west as soon as possible
- Head up a set of stairs and ignore every ladder, crossing two bridges
- Mash through cutscene, receive Master Ball, catch Groudon, give it a 1-character name
- Make your way out of the cave
- Once completely out of cave, teach Fly, swap Groudon to slot 1, Fly to Nettle Town
	> Teach Bulk Up to Groudon in slot 2
	> Check if Groudon has 96+ speed

NETTLE TOWN/ROUTE 8
- Head north on Route 8 towards Orchid Town

ORCHID TOWN
- Head northwest to gym
- Gym Leader Greg: Bulk Up x2, (heal, X Speed,) Guard Spec, Earthquake Absol, Earthquake Mightyena, Earthquake Stoutland, Ancient Power + Earthquake Houndoom, Earthquake Granbull, Earthquake Arcanine
	> Check Speed after fight
- Exit gym, head north, avoid trainers, enter "Victory Road"
- Take most northeast ladder (have to go around some other ladders), exit cave, head north immediately to Elite Four

ELITE FOUR
- April: Bulk Up x2 + Earthquake Ursaring, Stone Edge/Hammer Arm Braviary, Earthquake Miltank, Earthquake Snorlax, Earthquake Porygon-Z, Earthquake Blissey
- Sophia: Bulk Up + Earthquake Seismitoad, Earthquake (die, swap), X Special x2 + Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Shadow Ball, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam
- Heal to full
