Showdown% is a new race category that has not been done before!  Runners will have exactly 2 hours from starting a new file on Pokemon Red to progress through the game and build up the strongest team they can.  At the end of the 2 hours, we will export our teams to Pokemon Showdown and have a tournament with our in-game teams to see who is the champion!

The race will start on Saturday 9th, 2016 at 1 PM EST. It won't be on fastmenu because vanilla Red provides better pacing.
Unless you want to go in blind, it's best to plan your team in advance (although completely routing your route out isn't necessary).

Rules:
- You cannot enter Unknown Dungeon because the Pokémon inside are 2stronk.
- Only one legendary is allowed to prevent lucksacking scenarios.
- Once the 2 hour limit is up, you cannot catch or modify any of your Pokémon. You may withdraw your team so it can be saved in Party Data
- Evasion, Sleep and Freeze Clause are in play (but OHKO allowed for the meme)

Converting to a Showdown Text File:
- Download the sav_to_txt program at https://www.dropbox.com/s/5f5d9mudl5k5qio/stt.zip?dl=0
- Take the save of the ROM and copy it to the same folder as the sav_to_txt program
- Drag the save onto the sav_to_txt exe (do not open it, nothing useful will happen)
- Use the resulting text file and copy it into Showdown's teambuilder
