Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories 100% FAQ (15-card mod) Q: What are you trying to do? A: Unlock every duelist and get 689 cards into the library of Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories, thus completing 100% of the game. There are 722 cards total, but 33 can't be obtained. I am playing the 15-card mod version of the game, in which you win 15 cards per duel instead of 1. Q: Why not play the original game? A: Two reasons: 1) The 15-card mod is much more playable for speedruns, as you don't have to spend nearly as much time farming for cards. 2) It makes the speedrun doable in a single segment (25 hours as opposed to 75+ hours). Q: If you get 15 times as many cards, why is the run only 3 times faster? A: Many cards in the game can only be purchased with star chips, not won as a drop or fused for. This includes Seiyaryu, which costs a whopping 1700 chips. Q: What are you playing on? A: ePSXe, an emulator for PS1 games. Q: What is the world record? A: 26:26:50 by BadNewsNate. You could consider this an unofficial record because it's segmented, but no one has done a single-segment run, and my first run will be segmented as well. Q: How do you get a card into your library? A: By winning the card, fusing for it, or ritual summoning it. Most cards are won, but some can only be fused for or ritual summoned. Q: What's the route like? A: See this paste: https://pastebin.com/djCeNLPK Q: Where can I see which cards you've won? A: I've made a spreadsheet for this. It doesn't include all 689 cards, just the rare ones: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1s07AWIVCphV36V_2IXHSAjnGQsilZrvNrT19zJBmPGo/edit?usp=sharing Q: Can't some of the unobtainable cards be purchased for 999,999 star chips? A: Yes. It takes about 3800 hours to do that (more than a full year if you play 10 hours per day). Have fun with that!
