**RULES**

- Timing is by RTA. It starts at New Game and ends when the screen fades to black after the Hall of Fame in-game time is shown.
- Saving and quitting is allowed. (NOTE: If this category becomes more competitive, it will not be allowed for times under a certain threshold, as it is easy to perform manips using save & quit).
- Runs must be done on the English version.
- Glitches are not allowed.
- Runs may be performed on fresh or dry battery.
- You may not check your Trainer ID before selecting your starter Pokemon.
- Intentional RNG manipulation is not allowed in any form.
