i guess i should post my goals for 2016 now as well:  

☑ meet some online friends in real life
☐ learn enough conversational japanese to talk to my japanese taiko friends  <3
☐ learn how to play a few songs on piano
☐ relearn rubik's cube, solve 3x3 in under 45 seconds
☐ reach top 300 global in taiko 
☐ reach top 20k global in standard
☐ participate in TWC 2016 as a player or commentator
☐ play taiko on an arcade machine
☐ cosplay at a convention
☐ find time to get back into watching anime
☐ have fewer than 5 emotional breakdowns
