Pokémon Diamond- Any% Glitchless (Turtwig) speedrun - F.A.Q. (as of February 21st, 2018)

Q. What are you trying to achieve ?
A. I'm trying to finish Pokémon Diamond as fast as possible without glitches, i.e. reaching the game credits.

Q. What is the route about ?
A. I will main Turtwig throughout the entire run.

Q. Why Turtwig ? Isn't Chimchar faster ?
A. Yes it is. But i like Turtwig, and it deserves more love.

Q. What is a seed & why is it important ?
A. It's basically how the game sets up the RNG (the randomness). Depending on what time and date you start the game at, it will create a specific value which will be an initializer for the random. From there, most of the overworld random events (NPC behaviour, random encounters, etc.) can be foreseen as long as a certain movement is followed. 
My special setting allows me to manipulate a godlike Turtwig (ft. Hidden Power Rock) with conveniently-placed slave-encounters (Starly, then Bidoof). Later in the run, i will also manipulate a wild Chansey from a Bibarel encounter, in order to acquire a Lucky Egg.

Q. Why do you need a Lucky Egg ?
A. Lucky Egg boosts the gained experience by +50%. This allows Turtwig to grow faster to hit stronger, as well as catching up with its lack of Speed.

Q. What is an 'extended manipulation' ?
A. In Pokémon Pearl/Diamond/Platinum speedruns, the usual manipulations usually end after Oreburgh Mine. This is because of after Jubilife Galaxy double battle : the RNG advances through the long cutscene and an additional seed-dependant advancement is made when receiving the Fashion Case. These two lead to a difficult way of 'extending' the manipulation after this point. My seed tends to make that happen, which allows several goodies :
	> no Oreburgh shopping detour, no Repel use until Mt Coronet.
	> manipulate the 3 spinners past Jubilife City to be dodged 100% of the time very quickly
With this extension, the manipulation after Eterna Forest.

Q. Why do you choose the girl ?
A.	1) She's cute.
	2) She's required for my RNG manipulation to work properly.
	3) Lucas talks less than Dawn as an NPC
	4) She's cute.
	5) Did i mention she was cute already ?
