Noticed people posting these and I wanted to keep track of my progress as well Main Game/ Grind: FireRed/LeafGreen Any% - 2:05 and E4R2 sub 3:40 My PB in Any% is absolute trash and easily improvable, I can't let that video stay up. 2:05 would be a great time imo but thats gonna take some grinding. Depending on how fast my progress is I may shoot for lower times but once I hit 2:05 I'll be content for now. UPDATE - Hit 2:05:05, gonna see how far I can go before a top runner gets mid low 2:01-2:00 Round 2 I put a lot of work into routing a riskier/crazier Charmander Route and that category is horseshit to grind. That being said I still love this category, it was what pulled me in and was my first run. My goal is to get sub Snorms for 2nd place Char R2 using the new route. Depending on how I feel I may switch over and grind Blastoise to see what I can do there as well. Side Hustle: Pokemon Red I spent a lot of time learning the manips/route (should've spent more time on both), and it sucks that I wasn't able to get my console capture working. As soon as I figure out the fix for that I'll start peppering in Red runs here and there. It was fun to participate in the tourney and watch all the chaos unfold but I'm not trying to cheat people out of an exciting race next year. Probably gonna play this randomly throughout the year, but if I make quick progress with other games I may grind for a decent time here. Next Grind: Emerald Gen 3 is my favorite gen, and Emerald is a great game/run. Don't have a cart yet but have a fake I can practice on until the day comes. Other miscellaneous things - Maybe learn Gold because I have a cart - Memey Stadium runs? - Want to look into Gen 4 but might be a while till I can get all the equipment - Look into more things to route. Routing R2 was exhausting even when I had most of the work already laid out before me, but the joy I felt after is addicting.
