Set clock to 11pm. Can also set it for ~11:35 and try to be in Mt. Moon when the moon stones reset. You'll need to play with the timing to fit your typical run. Needs to hit midnight after you grab both Moon Stones, but before you're ready to move on through the dungeon

Catches through most of the run are very tight. If you need to skip one of the Pokemon before the Meowth chain, you'll need to get a bonus (or keep chaining for Meowth after 11). Each bonus allows you to skip one Pokemon. The bonuses are:
Bulbasaur - Viridian Forest
Charmander - Route 3/4, Rock Tunnel
Squirtle* - Route 25
Onix - Mt. Moon, Rock Tunnel
Krabby - Route 10
Chansey - Mt. Moon, Route 6/8/9/10/11/15/16/17/21, Diglett's Cave, Pokemon Tower, Power Plant, Pokemon Mansion
Ditto - Pokemon Mansion

* - With Squirtle, the only reason to chain Meowth all the way to 11 is for Hitmonlee. You can stop at 5 to get Arcanine and then risk it or chain Machokes for Hitmonlee. This is better for EXP on Dratini, but Machoke is tougher to catch so it might be more trolly
