Q: What are you playing on, is it an emulator?
A: Nintendo DS
 
Q: What's your PB?
A: 3:55:43
 
Q: What is Any% Glitchless Manipless?
A: Beating the game (entering the Hall of Fame) using neither glitches nor RNG manipulation.
 
Q: Are there glitches in this game?
A: Yes, there is tweaking, which saves a significant portion of the game. But i’m not using glitches in this category.
 
Q: Why do you name yourself and the pokemon you catch one character?
A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes.
 
Q: Why did you choose the girl instead of the boy? Are you that kind of incel gamer?
A: No, the girl is faster because Lucas as Rowan's assistant talks less than Dawn as Rowan's assistant.
 
Q: Why are you doing the Chimchar route?
A: Chimchar has a high ceiling for speedrunning this game manipless. If I am not doing a race, I will try to reset for a good Chimchar. If I am doing a race, I will play with a lower standard of Chimchars, or do the Kazza route instead if the Chimchar is too bad.

Q: What are the minimum stats of Chimchar? How likely is it that you get it?
A: I need an Attack & Speed stat of 13 & 13 at Lv 6 for grinding attempts. For neutral natures, that's 18+/12+ IV. For races, I'll take any Chimchar with decent Atk and not abysmal Spe. It works out to be about 25% to get a good Chimchar to do attempts with, 42% to get good Atk (but not good Speed).
 
Q: What else do you use/catch?
A: I catch a Bidoof, a flyer (Starly/Zubat), Bibarel, and one of Porygon/Eevee (Porygon if Bibarel is caught before Hearthome City)
- Bidoof gets Rock Smash and Cut. Monferno would get these HMs for the Kazza route.
- Bibarel gets Surf, Strength, and Rock Climb.
- Eevee is insurance that Fantina and Rival 3 go well (picked up if no Bibarel before Hearthome City).
- Porygon is better than Eevee in the double battles because it has Download/Specs Psybeam for Croagunks.

Q: Where can you save time over PB?
A: I had 4 deaths and a few encounters on the first split.
