Train geodude a bit before Surge via swaps or something (Take too much damage on Surge at L11 otherwise)
Manip L31 Dugtrio in Diglett’s cave for a mainswitch through the midgame
Use the manipped geodude to defeat Surge
Use Dugtrio through Silph and Koga
High-level mansion raticate for Sabrina, X Attack+X Accuracy+X Speed+hyper fang x3
L38 growlithe in mansion to Fire Blast Erika (after blaine)
Ponyta to HD Blaine (121 speed with 15 Speed DV L32 and 1 X Speed) or Dewgong which can survive Flamethrower but takes 2x X Speed.
Doduo/Dodrio? for Giovanni to mimic fissure safely then set up OHKO combo
Dewgong to HD Lorelei (138 Speed after X Speed x2) or Kingler if Dewgong is needed elsewhere
L32 Nidorina HD combo for Bruno - 110 speed after 2x speed, 110 needed
Agatha needs 147 speed and giovanni's fissure TM (likely Kangaskhan fissure X Speed x2 x acc)
Articuno for Lance (not certain of battle strategy for gyarados, everything else dies easily to ice beam/blizzard)
Pinsir for Champ to force poison sting and set up for guillotine x6 (needs a pp up, 5 rare candies, x speed x3, x acc)
