Pokemon White 2 Mareep+ - FAQ This is a speedrun by the way Q: What are you playing on, is it an emulator? A: Nintendo DS Q: Why Mareep? A: Because I want to. Q: How good is Mareep? A: Could get a 3:3X, 3:2X probably out of the picture. Alt mains in W2 are just bad in general, given the fact that X items are hardly found (basically one of each are available until Opelucid). Good mons in W2 have set-up moves to rid themselves of X item reliance. Mareep has basically no setup (it gets Charge lol). Other than that, the main drawback is it's speed and moveset depth. Q: What are Mareep's stats? A: Rash, all 31 IVs. Q: What moves does Mareep use? A: In order: Tackle, Thunder Wave, ThunderShock, Return, Charge, Echoed Voice, Electro Ball, Volt Switch, Signal Beam, Fire Punch, Discharge, Thunderbolt Q: Where do you catch Mareep? A: I catch Mareep in Flocessy Ranch at Lv5. Q: What are the hardest fights? A: The scariest fights are Clay, Reversal Mountain double, Dragon gym fights, VR Trainer 4 (Golurk), Shauntal (Golurk), Iris. Q: Are there glitches in this game? A: Not any that are useful in a speedrun. This is a glitchless speedrun by default. Q: Why do you name yourself and the pokemon you catch one character? Why not Tepig? A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes. Tepig is not nicknamed because the amount of time spent displaying extra characters is not as great as the time spent initially naming the Tepig. Q: Does it matter whether you choose boy or girl? A: Nope, so I do whatever I feel like in the moment. Q: What else do you use/catch? A: I catch a Psyduck and Zubat. - Psyduck gets Surf and Strength. - Zubat for assistance in Burgh's gym and Fly. Q: How do you know that you're getting x? How do you know that x is not gonna happen? A: It's all part of the RNG Manip. I know what will happen as long as I do movement correctly. Q: Why is your movement so weird? A: It's because I'm manipulating RNG to get what I want. Q: Why are you resetting so early? A: Because I messed up RNG.
