Pokemon Crystal Rocky FAQ 

Q: What is this?
A: Doing a glitchless speedrun with Rocky, the in-game traded Onix in Violet City.

Q: Is this some faster alternate route?
A: No, this isn't fast at all lol. Just an alternate Pokemon run.

Q: Why are you doing this then?
A: Two main reasons, 1) I got the itch to run Crystal again, but the current route is so boring and unfun, it really put me off. This ends up being a bit different and fun, and got to do some actual routing too, which always makes it more rewarding
2) I think it could be a good idea for the PSR marathon. Last year we had zero Johto submissions, and I think this is the type of thing I could submit for it.

Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?
A: No, I play on a Gamecube through a Gameboy Player using a Gameboy SP as a controller.

Q: What do you trade for the Onix?
A: Bellsprout, so gotta get one of those.

Q: Anything else you catch?
A: I'll get a Poliwag before Violet as well (Need an early one for Surf)
 
Q: What are the hard fights for Onix?
A: Uhh...all of them? Lmao, it's pretty bad. It falls apart to any water/grass attack, and a fair amount of trainers have them. Almost every gym leader is a rough ride. The worst fights for him, I'd say, are Chuck, Clair, and Lance.

Q: What's your aim time?
A: No idea what a good time would look like. But I'm also not gonna grind for a good time, just finish 1, maybe 2 runs and be happy.

Q: Why do you use Frame 4?
A: Because it's cute :3

Q: Why the girl?
A: Because she's cute :3
 
Q: Why do you name yourself and slaves 'I'?
A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes, and the letter 'I' gives a nice spin as if the game was self-narrating 
 
Q: I just heard you orgasming like crazy and I couldn't see why...are you crazy?
A: There are several trainers in this game that spin like crazy. It's either because one caught me, or one didn't >_>
