- Force Oddish on Northern Route 2 if Exp isn't great on Pikachu.
- If Pikachu is decently leveled (exact threshold TBD) on Brock, solo Brock with Oddish.
    --> Allows to skip healing Pikachu after Brock as well.

Shop in Pewter changed:
- No need to adapt selling Poké Balls as much.
- Skip buying X-Accuracy.
- Only 10 menu inputs instead of 16.

- Shopping order allows to access X-Sp. Atks on J&J in one input instead of 2.

- PP Up pickup skip (saves about 7 seconds).

- Skip healing after Underground before Vermillion.
- Growlithe catch basically mandatory (unless you manage to get a Kadabra after Boat Rival instead).
   --> That was a de facto reset point for top runners already anyway.
- 2C Boat Rival, which means no more:
    - Trolling with Sand Attack
    - Eevee range
    - Oddish heal range
    - Oddish Sleep Powder

Shop in Vermillion changed:
- No more selling PP Up.
- We sell Revives instead, which are aligned much better in the sell menu compared to PP Up.
- Skip buying Guard Spec.
- Skip buying X-Accuracy.
- Skip buying Repels.
- Optionally buy Burn Heal to keep God Menu if you get burnt in Rock Tunnel by Vulpix.
- Only 9 inputs instead of 17.

- Potentially skip menu before entering Route 9 (depends on catch & evo situation).
- If Growlithe was used on Boat Rival, the odds of being Level 18 are severely increased for Route 9.

- You usually won't use a Super Potion outside of battle until J&J 2.

- Skip Max Elixir pickup in Mansion.

- Biggest con: Elixir after Koga instead of Sabrina is recommended.
