Group 0: Shiru is God Gamer. 1st round is IRL timeloss to him

Group 1: Iron_dre VS Danyal VS blaketurnertron
WINNER: Irond_dre, 2nd = Danyal (advance on time) 3rd = blaketurntron

Iron is a great gen 3 speedrunner, and his experience with the game and other Gen 3 style romhacks get him the win. Don't know too much about the others but seeing no current PB from blake I'll have to say Danyal comes in second. 

Group 2: Machwing VS ceegs VS LoveSickHero
WINNER: Machwing, 2nd = ceegs (advance on time) 3rd = LoveSickHero

I'm betting on myself the whole way (we'll see). Unfortunately Char route has some very hard walls in the route, so I see ceegs coming in second. Catch Char R2 tho

Group 3: Juanlyways VS Qpalz VS its_shmo
Winner: Juanlyways, 2nd = Qpalz (advance on time) 3rd = its_shmo

Juanly is my favorite for the Tourney. He's also been running hot rn. Qpalz will take second since he's been practicing and plays better than his current PB.

Group 4: Thunder_147
Winner: Thunder_147 

Thunder is likely the most knowledgeable FR/LG runner besides Exarion. Leaf is tough competition and has played all kinds of FRLG categories. In Leafgreen anything can happen. Unfortunately Leaf can no longer participate so Thunder is our winner

Group 5: Pokeguy VS Kidrocker96 VS tectectectec
Winner: Pokeguy, 2nd = Kidrocker (advance on time) 3rd = tectec

Pokeguy natural talent prevails. KR advances on time with plenty of race experience under his belt. There's probably not a death he hasn't seen in a race. Will have to see how tectec does without a PB

Group 6: Randalleatscheese VS AmoebaUK VS xxshuzoxx
Winner Randall, 2nd Amoeba (advance on time) 3rd xxshuzoxx

Randall and Amoeba have a handshake agreement to both do Char. Regardless of if Randall runs Squirtle or Char, he is the much more practiced Gen 3 runner with a pretty good Char time to boot. Randall takes this one with a better than expected fight from Amoeba for a not much practiced FRLG runner. xxshuzo has no PB so hard to say they'll advance on time. 

Group 7: Kurddt vs Pickleplop
Winner: Pickleplop, 2nd Kurddt (advance on time)

Pickle consistently plays better than his current PB, and has been a beast in recent FRLG races. Kurddt is no doubt stiff competition and I'm sure this is gonna be one of the better races in Round 1. Pickle wins a close one, both advance on time. 

Group 8: KukkerTM VS PinkishPrincess VS Kadir61plays
Winner: KukkerTM, 2nd Pinkish (advance on time) 3rd Kadir (advance on time)

This is a hard one to call. Kukker plays regularly at a WR level and has the race WR (2:03:46!!!!), however pinkish has picked up the run quickly and has primarily been grinding the game since around the start of the year, as well as joining several races and playing extremely well. I don't know much about Kadir, but based off his PB he should be fine. Kukker wins a close on and both PP and KAdir advance on time

Group 9: Ananan VS Roushmore VS Fsu_Psycho
Winner: Ananan, 2nd Roush (advance on time) 3rd Fsu_Psycho

Ananan is a great runner and is more recently practiced than Roush. Roush will advance on time so no worries. 

Group 10: JP_Xinnam VS Guillemcuatel VS Asmodemus
Winner: JP, 2nd Guillem (advance on time) 3rd Asmodemus

JP is the most experienced FRLG runner in the tourney and it will show. Guillem plays better than his current PB and will advance on time.

Group 11: Headbob VS Oddenbjornsen VS Kapital
Winner: Headbob, 2nd = Kapital (advance on time) 3rd Oddennjornsen (advance on time)

Headbob is a clear favorite here and not someone who's gonna have too many mistakes to capitalize on. Close battle for second between Kapital and Odden as they have both been playing the game recently, I'll say it's a coin flip and will take Kaptial. All advance on time

Group 12: Snorms VS Sheltiesci VS Viroda
Winner: Snorms, 2nd Sheltie (advance on time) 3rd Viroda (advance on time)

Snorms also a favorite here and will likely take the win. Sheltie vs Viroda for 2nd should be good, edge to Sheltie who's been putting a lot of work in on FRLG and will advance on time.
