Pokémon Emerald THE Plan Now that I have finished 1 (really bad) run in emerald and had some decent PB paced runs (2 of them got past TNL), I think it's time to do some serious segment Practice. The specifics are to be decided yet, but I want to be able to consistently making it through the game without hittingany optionals. I also want Practice some splits and make some target splits accordingly. In general I want the target splits to be Good execution with average to below average luck. At the end of this Emerald grind I want a run that has exactly this, good execution with reasonable luck. I want to be able to always match these target splits by playing well. Next I'm gonna list target split times and my justification/explanation for these. Roxanne: 18:00 A run I remember that had first try Kip Manip, 4 Encounters, 1 miss on pooch and 1 Potion before Roxanne got me a time close to 18:00. A lot of runs were also really close too that. PB has a 17:30 Rival 2: 18:25 36:25 PB was 18:39 and had a (fast) second try chain, double growl on the first plusle/Minun fight and wasted 4 turns sleeping on RIval 2. With a first try Manip this would've been roughly 15 seconds faster, hence the target. Wattson: 7:15 43:40 Basically PB split, 7:14, rounded up. Missed Zig range into growl into missing gulpin range. Maxie: 11:45 55:25 my best so far was around 11:22. 11:45 accounts for getting effect spored Flannery: 3:00 58:25 average rounded up. Brawly: 3:38 1:02:03 1 encounter don't miss the range. Norman 6:40 1:08:43 Rival 7:50 1:16:33 Winona 13:30 1:30:03 Maxie 8:20 1:38:23 TNL 13:30 1:51:53 Archie 12:00 2:03:53 Juan 13:15 2:17:08 Sidney 10:00 2:27:08 Phoebe 1:48 2:28:56 Glacia 1:55 2:30:51 Drake 1:48 2:32:39 Champ/End 4:18 2:36:57 For sub 3:36 attempts, prob adjust the early game, in other words reset early for pace. i think.
