Pokemon Black/White Any% FAQ
 
Q: What are you trying to do?
A: Beat Pokemon Black/White as fast as possible!
 
Q: Are you playing on Emulator?
A: No
 
Q: Why are you using Lillipup over Tepig or Snivy?
A: Recently Lillipup was discovered to be faster and more consistent than the previously faster Tepig route. Snivy sucks at completing the game and is just used as a cut slave.
 
Q: How is Lillipup faster and more consistent?
A: Being able to eliminate encounters on both Route 1 and 2 is a big advantage that Tepig can barely manage to do but Lillipup can do at a much easier rate. Stoutland also isn't a "heavy" Pokemon and skips an animation vs. Emboar during each battle. It also destroys the early game, Cheren 3-5, Elesa, Skyla, AND Bianca 5 at a much faster and easier rate than Tepig. PP management is also not much of an issue with Lillipup either in comparison to Tepig.

Q: What are the stats on Lillipup?
A: Adamant /w 31/31/30+/0+/30+/31 are the runnable stats on Lillipup. Special attack doesn't matter on Lillipup so it doesn't matter how high the IV is on them.

Q: What are the stats on Snivy?
A: 30+ Attack /w a non -attack nature is perfectly fine for Snivy. It's only used for 4 fights anyways.

Q: Why do you pick the girl?
A: Cause she's cute and the boy is ugly in this game.

Q: How do you guarantee no encounters?
A: It's based off of my movement as well as when I start up my Nintendo DS. Unfortunately you can't really replicate the same movement + date's that I use though due to RNG Manipulation being tied to DS Mac address. Meaning someone out in the world could have the fastest Nintendo DS for Pokemon Black/White Speedruns and not even know it.

Q: Is Black faster than White?
A: Both are considered to be equally as fast. White doesn't get Rough Skin on the Dragon Gym Leader and Black gets a better fight using Reshiram vs. Zekrom. This almost completely evens out the timeloss at the end.
