You're looking for the following minimum stats:
20+ Atk (24+ preferred, 28+ ideal)
27+ Spc.Atk (30+ preferred)
9+ Spd (9-15 is good, 16-22 is ideal, 23+ is risky)
With +Spc.Atk Nature (Mild/Rash/Quiet) ~ if Quiet must have 31 IV speed

***Good defenses are very beneficial for this run to have a better chance of finishing***

> Kill 47 experience (lvl 3 pidgey + lvl 3 rat).
        ~ Ratatta does less damage on average than Pidgey
		~ Ratatta gives 16/24/32 exp, Pidgey gives 15/23/31 (levels 2/3/4)
> Get Oak's Parcel.
> After getting Pokedex, catch one of either Ratatta or Pidgey. Prioritise catching a Ratatta with bad attack.
 
Viridian Forest
 
> If you haven't killed enough experience for level 7 take the hidden tree antidote and Scratch the first Weedle. Make sure to get 47 experience total before the end of Viridian forest.
> Fight all bug catchers in the forest with ember.
> Skip the Antidote on the ground.

Pewter City

> Mart
		- 7 potions

> Skip the optional trainer in Brock's Gym.
