- Use Carbos before Viridian Rival

3-4 Speed, 9-15 Special: (Blizzard, 1 Carbos)
- Buy 1 less X Special
- Buy 1 more X Speed
- Don't pick up Max Ether
- Pick up 1 Carbos in Silph
- Use Carbos in Pallet Town menu
- Pick up Blizzard TM
- Teach Blizzard before Champion in heal menu
- X Speed instead of X Special on Sandslash

5-7 Speed, 0-8 Special: (Kinesis, 0 Carbos)
- Normal item buy
- Pick up Max Ether
- Don't pick up any Carbos
- Buy Full Restores before E4

- Skip Mom Heal (use Elixer + Super Potion)
- Use last Potion to make room for Blizzard
- Pick up Blizzard TM
- Teach Blizzard before Champion in heal menu
- X Speed instead of X Special on Sandslash

8-10 Speed: (2-3 Carbos)
- Normal item buy
- Don't pick up Max Ether
- Pick up 2-3 Carbos
- Use all Carbos before Viridian Rival

11/15 Speed: (1 Carbos)
- Normal item buy
- Don't pick up Max Ether
- Pick up 1 Carbos in Silph
- Use Carbos before Viridian Rival

12-14 Speed: (0 Carbos)
- Normal item buy
- Pick up Max Ether
- Don't pick up any Carbos


- Note that you can replace any of the Kinesis Nidos with freeze strat, just skip buying Full Restores and Ice Beam turn 1
- If you get freeze, set up X Acc + X Speed on Sandslash, then Horn Drill everything but Alakazam
- If you crit, Earthquake Alakazam and hope for Kinesis, then X Acc + Horn Drill everything if you're still alive
