Colo Log Haven't made one before for any other game, so I'll say I'm mostly making this just so I know my progress. Missing manip won't be counted in here cuz that's boring. dunno the dates for these 4, these ones are pretty insignificant so whatever 1: 54 quil 2: 54 quil 3: 54 quil 4: 50 quil 5/4 5: (59 relaxed) finished first run - 3:52:15 - fairly mediocre but survived, main mistakes (I think): not returning to the heal machine with hyper mode and trying to set up blaze for lab with relaxed -speed 5/5 6: (60 relaxed) died to mt battle / skrub, should have dug and kept quil alive at all costs on skrub because only got mirez ish experience 5/6 7: (61 hardy) mantine crit death, could've/should've called in colo once for ~raleen flame wheel but not too big a deal with such a great quil/nature 5/7 8: 50 quil 9: (58 docile) dumb pike death I heal machined immediately, dumb meditite death to breakout->high jump kick, died to baltoy and ralts double targeting quil 10: (60 relaxed) ran out of flame wheel pp for dakim 1 and died to top off what was generally bad mt battle decision-making 5/8 11: 51 quil 12: 54 quil 13: (62 sassy) finished - 3:47:40 - but a crazy number of misplays, yet another one on mt battle; also I learned to prioritize killing machamp over tyranitar, hopefully I never need to use that info ever again 14: (61 docile) misclicked protect on venus 1 and double died, got trolled by confusion on the sneasel fight and gave up 5/9 15: (57 quirky) one early game misclick into a death, death to meditite breakout from full, complete chokes at realgam tower, bad klest death because I didn't realize AI was shifted 5/10 16: (56 hasty) couldn't get the calls for tisler experience 5/11 17: (60 docile) 5 minutes ahead of pb after ferma then irl rng kicked in, venus misclick finished off the hard tilt 5/12 18: (62 bashful) yoloed cail because of bad nature and died 19: (58 docile) 14/16 mt battle geodude range (: 5/13 20: 49 quil 21: (59 timid) after all the calls couldn't get hyper mode back on mirez 5/14 22: 54 quil 23: (60 modest) finished - 3:40:00 - some really wild rng, but generally solid decision making and good fights, some adaptations I wasn't ready for but that's kinda to be expected for having barely 2 weeks of experience 5/15 24: (59 gentle) finished - 3:42:22 - horrible nature but unironically pb pace entering lab, then one death in lab to fire blast miss and misplayed in trying to get blaze back and died again 5/16 25: (56 serious) called an extra time to get tisler experience on this bad spatk but couldn't get hyper mode back 5/17 26: (59 naive) 5th (ish) straight cursed Venus fight, forgot to menu way too often in the late game and decided to give up after a Venus 2 death 27: (55 brave) tried to take this because godly nature but died to pike and gave up 28: (57 naughty) died to cail confusion hax 5/19 29: (56 naive) note on calcium strats: the shopping in the notes is meant for hotel skip; died to a stairs misplay, also died in lab again and I need to seriously use return to get blaze after reviving 5/20 30: 50 quil 31: (61 lonely) finished - 3:41:30 - bad venus 1, some fire blast misses on stairs, crit ty trying to set up lab blaze, some other errors 5/28 42: (62 timid) couldn't get enough calls for a timely flame wheel, ultimately quil died to reath (unfortunate but manageable), espeon died to ferma to bubblebeam crit 43: (61 quirky) mantine crit death 5/29 44: 54 quil 45: (61 lax) finished - 3:37:13 - one misplay in pyrite building that lost time, a big misplay on skrub that lost a minute, poor execution and bad blaze setup in lab, but the cleanest realgam-end I've had so far 5/31 46: 53 quil 47: 51 quil 48: (67 quiet) finished - 3:40:28 - was 3 minutes ahead of pb after skrub, but missed all mt battle ranges and hard misplays in the lab, misplayed miror b 2 and flat out died to venus 2 56: (59 hasty) low roll confusion into strength espeon death on cail 6/20 57: 52 quil 58: (60 mild) zero calls on cail after quick attack crit on quil, miror b flinched espeon twice, still a minute ahead of pb then venus 1 struck (didn't know exactly what would happen after a fire blast miss with a female ty and got punished) 59: (58 modest) two minutes behind pb after colo but brought it back, minor misplay on mt battle into a major misplay on lab, venus 2, nascour, and evice punished accordingly 6/21 60: (59 sassy) called twice even though neither call was necessary, was 4.5 minutes ahead of pb heading into lab, died to granbull and suicune, ultimately choked, forgetting to put meditite at the front of the party for nascour and evice 61: 53 quil 62: 54 quil 63: (57 bashful) laughably bad quil but insane number of crits on the ferma split, fell back behind pb after a stairs death, one lab death then a venus 2 death to officially end pb, decided to call it there because with calcium I didn't have another revive for it 6/22 64: 53 quil 65: (57 quirky) mantine crit 6/23 66: (64 rash) not a single hyper mode or call in colosseum, died to remoraid critting quil but still attempted to continue with super low exp but super high spatk, died to miror b critting quil 67: (56 gentle) safe to say, I didn't bother to try 68: (57 relaxed) didn't get enough calls fast enough to make up for 3rd ball quil and bad stats 6/24 69: (63 modest) finished - shadow rush crit espeon, miss crit kill on yanma, take a few attacks from pineco, yoloing to hopefully not heal until the machine, considered continuing but decided against it cuz it was late 7/5 82: (60 naive) yoloed cail because of 4th ball and died 83: (55 quirky or calm) not sure which nature I got, didn't bother waiting to figure it out because 2nd ball and it was late yet again 7/6 84: (59 hardy) took a pretty unnecessary second call for tisler experience / safety, then threw after missing the mantine range and died to ferma 85: (59 naughty) accidentally double reflected on skrub for a death, still pb pace but then threw super hard on miror b 2 and died to a fire blast miss on venus 2 7/7 86: (63 modest) didn't even try cail because quil killed espeon, so bad time and bad nature 87: (61 mild) slow beginning from 3rd ball quil and bad nature, not enough good rng to catch up, then misclicked on ein 1 for the throw 7/9 88: (55 calm) no 89: (60 bold) too distracted to focus on the run, misclicked on skrub 1 and died 7/10 90: 49 quil 91: 53 quil 7/11 92: (62 timid) quil died on cail without any calls so I punted, especially with nonexistent attack - and everything else that isn't spatk lol 93: 53 quil 7/12 94: (56 lonely) yoloed cail because bad spatk and nature and died 7/13 95: (60 relaxed) decent run for such a bad nature but misclicked and died to ferma 7/14 96: 50 quil 97: (60 lonely) insane cail fight, lost time to having to backtrack to the heal machine after a para on quil, died to confusing the meditite and it hitting itself 7/15 98: 47 quil 99: 54 quil 100: (57 quirky) though normally great, was a pretty dumb nature for bad spatk, died to geats while setting up blaze and decided to not continue due to pace and spatk 7/19 101: (59 quirky) pb pace but died on a mt battle fight, revived and didnt realize that split exp so didnt get psychic on time, from there couldnt get blaze and the run fell apart 7/21 102: 53 quil 103: (61 gentle) tried to take the bad nature and got 4 calls, but lost a lot of time to nore and not getting hyper mode crits in general, died to linoone and decided to yolo meditite as a result, it predictably failed 7/24 104: (55 docile or calm) doesn't matter which nature it was, no way would I take it 7/25 105: (59 hasty) finished - 3:34:15 - died to magnemite critting quil in pyrite building and to a fire blast miss on granbull, but otherwise pretty clean; 3:31 pace entering tower colosseum but then bad rng and bad execution, still happy with it and probably will move onto another game (will I fully learn Crystal soon?) 7/27 106: (61 timid) bad nature, 3rd ball, "accidentally" forgot to center and died to cail 107: (57 hasty) 3rd ball, bad special, quil died to cail and i just gave up because bad pace 108: 53 quil 109: (61 gentle) bad nature but settled into 3 minutes behind pb from colo onwards, however didn't realize there was a shifted ai version of venus 1 and died 7/28 110: (59 naive) miscounted pp on mt battle so i skipped hotel heal but had to ether, attempted to save pp and therefore pp items in the lab but died multiple times and gave up 7/29 111: (62 calm) nope 8/1 112: espy died to quil, seemed like good spatk though 113: 54 quil 8/2 114: 53 quil 8/3 115: 52 quil 116: (61 rash) finished - 3:30:55 - holy s--- that was epic! got hit to 4 hp by skrub setting up a ridiculously fast mt battle, bad stairs (fire blast miss on masquerain snowballed), did not have to fire blast granbull, did not choke lategame, you love to see it :D And with that I conclude this log. I will not grind for pb anymore in this game, and I will move on to another game (Crystal?). Maybe I try out something like All Snags if I have the time, maybe I do some Croc runs just for the heck of it, we'll see. And I will probably eventually return for a random day of runs now and then because this game is super kind on my hands - in fact, the nicest game outside of Stadium, which is unfortunately absolute hell to run and not particularly fun. The key is that we will see what I will do next, and for sure, I have learned and grown so much in these 3 months running Colo.
