something that is not clear from Grogirs paste is encounter(forest) basically means encounter(no pika cry).
That includes all encounter post nido-pika switch.

advantages for yellow:
Nido manip has 89.6% success rate (also 13 special for blizz route is bad)
Pidgey (no bird xp) manip has 95% success rate (not including NPC0)
Pidgey ( bird xp) manip has 94.17% success rate (not including NPC0)
Moon manip has 98.47% success rate

Because tracking color lag can be very tedious on brock/route 3, not tracking for moon is reasonable however with smart flowtimer offset, the amount of tracking work can be reduced.

My recommended strat:

	No Bird xp:
		Track frame 40/41 for Nido . It is a lot better to be late then early so tracking for 41 is also good. This is a 8 
		frame window for a 15/14 special Nido.

		To reduce the amount of color lag tracking i assume standard fights in my offset. For forest that is 2 color
		lags per enemy mon and 1 per Nido orange bar each fight. If that deviates from the real run adjust it in Flowtimer.

		Track frame 16 for pidgey (32 frame window)

	Bird xp:
		Track frame 39/40 for Nido. This is a 6 frame window for extended to Pidgeotto xp save tile.

		Recommended assumed standard: assume 4 color lags for bird and pika and pika cry.
		Track frame 56/57 for pidgey (44 frame window)

For Brock i assume 6 color lags in lightyear fight and i always assume i pot after fight. If i skip pot or pot in battle i skip Tracking for moon. From here on i assume green bar, however assuming orange/red is of course also fine. 
In Route 3 i assume 2 color lags per enemy mon except for BC2 Weedle,Caterpie and BC3 Caterpie  (1 color lag each).

Track frame 56 for moon (45 frame window)

Also for consistant reset timing on manips i recommend using a visual cue with the "saving" text printing. It is extremely easy to reset too early on accident.
For frame consistant reset timing i wait for the next flowtimer cycle and aim to reset exactly 1 igt second after the A-press
