- On the way down, don't repel. Take the "normal" path but cut
through the 3 yolo tiles.
     > If you get an encounter in first 3 tiles, you can repel.

- Talk to Oak from behind/left
- Use repel on second grass tile again

- Skip mart

- If extra repel (didn't use 3 on route 1): 
     > use repel before going left into grass
- get antidote
- Weedle Guy: WG x3 (+Bubble)
- Fight encounter grass after exit if necessary

- Go the mart
- Buy 4 Antidotes, 8 Potions, and 2 Balls

- Finish with Bubble if possible
- Bug Catcher 1: WG x2, WG+Bubble, WG x2
- Shorts Guy: WG x4

- Bug Catcher 3: WG+Bubble, WG+Bubble
- Walk through grass, catch bird (slot 4 ball)

MT. MOON
- Use Repel (s1) immediately
- Get escape rope and rare candy
- Use repel after it wears off
- GET MEGA PUNCH TM
- Menu after next repel wears off:
     > use repel
     > (slot 7) Teach TM01, MP, over Tackle (slot 1)
- Walk in front of rocket
- Rocket: MP(+Bubble), WG x2
- Super Nerd: MP+WG, MP+Bubble, WG x2
     > if out of WGs, use MPs
- Choose the Helix Fossil

CERULEAN CITY
- Enter the grass, catch Sandshrew (slot 3 ball)
- Take the center
- Enter the gym

- Heal to 55+ HP
- Misty: 
     > Staryu: TW + MP x2 (+Bubble)
     > Starmie: TW until -2, MP x2(+WG)
- Leave gym

- Go to the mart
- Sell TM34(s3) and Nugget (s4)
- Buy 3 Repels
- Go to the S.S. Anne

S.S. ANNE
- Heal if 1-12 HP
- Rival: Bite x2, BB, Bite, BB
     > If Sand, sac bird
     > Bubble stall on rat for redbar?
- Get HM01
- Enter the third door on the left, fight Gentleman
- Gentleman: 
     > 18-22 HP: Bite(x2), WG
     > Normal: WG x2
- Get rare candy
- Leave

VERMILION CITY
- On the tile before the Cut bush
     > (s5) Teach TM28, Dig, to BLASTOISE (slot 4)
     > swap slot 2 with Repels (5 down)
     > (down 1) Teach HM01 to Shrew
- Cut the bush
- Don't manip, just choose the cans
- Surge: Dig, Bite, Dig

VERMILION CITY
- Go to the house above the gym, get Bike Voucher
- Dig back to Cerulean

CERULEAN CITY
- Get the Bicycle from the bike shop
- After leaving the shop:
     > Swap slot 1 with Bike
     > (up 1)Toss TM24
     > Use bike, cut bushes

- GET CARBOS IN AREA 2
- Get Full Restore
- Use super repel in area 3
- Get the Gold Teeth
- Get HM03 from the guy in the house
- Walk outside
- Dig
- Bike to Silph Co.

SILPH CO.
- Go to floor 5
- GET THE ELIXER
- Rocket: Dig(+IB)
     > If paralyzed, use FR on next menu
- Get card key
- Menu:
     > use 2 candies on Blastoise
     > swap slot 7 with X Speed
     > Teach HM03, Surf, to Blastoise over slot 2

CINNABAR MANSION
- Get Carbos
- In the basement, menu:
     > use super repel
     > Swap slot 5 with Antidotes
     > Use both carbos
     > Toss antidotes
- Get Blizzard TM
- Remember to hit the statue here
- Hit the statue in the Northeast room
- Get BOTH rare candies
- Get the Secret Key (third visible item)
- Dig out
- Fly to Cinnabar
- Bike to gym

CINNABAR GYM
- Questions: A1, B2, B1, B3, A3, B1
- Blaine: X Spec, Surf x4
- Dig out
- Menu:
     > (s5) use 2 rare candies
     > bike to Saffron gym

SAFFRON GYM
- Teleporters: top-left, bottom-left, down, left to Sabrina
- Sabrina: X Acc(s4), X Atk, MK x4
     > If MK is disabled, use Dig
- Step on teleport pad, Dig out

- BIKE TO THE NORTH EDGE
