Some Misc strats worth exploring if faster, safer or good enough to be a preferance

early Eevee:
Get Eevee on arrival in Celadon (after center + depo), let it faint on Last rocket's raticate in pokemon tower.
Get Gastly and Dsum for Cubone/Haunter: If Cubone before Haunter, swap Eeevee to front save and repel for Haunter.
More of a situational safety strat that has a good chance to reward you.

Great balls before snorlax
buy around 6-10 Great balls (have to get extra calcium, and need to be careful abt money)
improves some catches and improves maximizing catch chance
Prob not worth, because it makes the menus scuffed because you either have to skip super potions or juggling Item managment (depo more items for later and stuff)

Leftside cyclying road
Extra items, for the cost of a bit of timeloss.
Always worth because it makes the Money route more flexible and gives you potentially 1 extra FR.

Safari repel
rush tauros zone on first visit, catch useful stuff on the way.
grind for Tauros after saving
if enough steps, grind for pinsir
if no L31/32 enter fuchsia shop, sell stuff and buy 1 super repel
repel for L31 Big nido in entrance
otherwise just rush Surf+items and catch stuff if optimal
Problem with any Safari strat is, that getting lucky is always better so not sure if this is worth it
but having a L31/32 is pretty much needed for Pidgeotto, so forcing it has upsides
(additionally save after most catches to save steps | Dsum manip-manip is really strong here if done correctly)

Late Tenta
Delay Tenta to after E4, before Seafoam. Buy Max repel if needed.
Need to elixir in Blaine gym, get an extra Max ether and use an extra candy on tenta.

Early seafoam
not fully fledged out yet
get Super rod after Koga gym
Do fishing -> get Strength+candy -> Get bellsprout+beauty -> do second safari section
Do pewter stuff, go to Pidgeotto catch (maybe let L31/32 die somewhere if possible)
After Pidgeotto+Rat go to blaine island lab and menu, have Pidgeotto in party for Repel trick
Get tenta on the way unless you have it already
get Seel+psyduck and catch Articuno (maybe with Masterball and freeze cheese Zapdos catch?)
after seafoam do plant
after plant get Poliwhirl and slowpoke + shopping
center in blaine island gym
then do Mansion 
then blaine gym with tenta + oma
Alot of details are missing, prob have to depo 2 elixirs to have enougth bag space and have to manage boxes differently
