Route 1

> Get the potion from the mart guy. (First guy on route)
> Kill a level 2 or 3 Ratatta for experience if you encounter one.
> Get Oak's Parcel.
> After getting Pokedex, catch a Pidgey and a Ratatta if you encounter them.

Viridian Forest

> If you haven't killed an encounter, kill a level 3 Caterpie.
> Get the antidote on the ground.
> Situational: Get the hidden potion all the way to the left of Sammy.
> Bug Catcher Sammy:
	- Tail whip, then all tackle.
	- If you get poisoned, potion rather than antidote. You want Torrent.
	- Check your Special Attack at level 7 and 8. Reset if you don't get +2 on either if 
		you're not doing a race.
> If you got poisoned, and you have 15 special at level 8, go to 6 health before 
  using the antidote. (7 health if -def)
  - If you used the potion in the fight, get the spare potion if you hadn't already.

Pewter City

> Head to the gym first.
> Camper Liam: 
	- All Bubbles.
	- Torrent + 15 special kills the Geodude in one hit.
	- Torrent + 16 special is a damage range for two hit on Sandshrew.
> Gym Leader Brock:
	- Geodude: Bubbles. Torrent kills in one hit.
	- Onix: Bubbles.
		* Potion at the following HP values or less, otherwise you will die to rock tomb.
			> 12 HP (Defence 17)
			> 11 HP (Defence 18-19)
			> 10 HP (Defence 20)
			> 9 HP (Defence 21-23)
			> 8 HP (Defence 24)
		* If you got level 13, teach Water Gun over Withdraw.
> Mart: Sell Rock Tomb.
	- Buy 10 Potions, 4 Antidotes, 4 Awakenings, 4 Repels
		* If you don't have a Ratatta, buy 9 potions and 1 Paralyse heal.
> Get the Running Shoes and head out to...

Route 3

> For the trainers on this route, use bubble until you have water gun, then all water gun.
> Bug Catcher Colton:
	- Getting torrent after this battle is key to a good route 3. Caterpie and Weedle 
		do 3 damage normally.
	- Without torrent, each bug takes 2 Water Gun hits to kill.
	- With torrent, it is a damage range to one shot them. They will generally die
		though.
> Bug Catcher Greg:
	- Metapod and Kakuna die in two hits without torrent.
> Bug Catcher James:
	- Caterpie is a damage range to one hit without torrent.
	- Metapod dies in two hits without torrent. It is a damage range with torrent.
> Avoid the Lass by the grass. She walks up and down only, and has a range of 4.
> If you do not have a fly slave, catch a Pidgey or a Spearow here.
> Pick up the Persim berry between the rocks on the left of the Pokemon center.
	- It's marked by a dark oval on the ground. (All ground berries are like that)
> Stop right below the gap between the center and Mt Moon. Pause.
	- Register the TM Case to Select button.
	- Equip Persim Berry
	- Use 1 Potion on Squirtle (to heal to around 30-40)
	- Repel.
> Enter Mt. Moon

Mt Moon

> Get the Rare Candy at the bottom right of Floor 1.
> Go down the set of stairs past the running Lass, get hidden Ether in the
	rock by the rocket. Go back up.
> If you do not have a cut slave, catch a Paras on B1.

Route 4

> Teach Mega Kick over Bubble.
> If you still don't have a fly slave, Spearow in this grass patch is your last chance.

Cerulean City

> Go up through the badge house and get the hidden Rare Candy.
	- Use 2 Rare Candies here to level 19. Bite over Tail Whip.
> Mart
	- Get two super potions.
	- If attack is 33 or less, you can skip this mart to save time, but it makes
		Misty much riskier.
> Go to the gym.
> Gym Leader Misty:
		* Confusion sucks. Having the Persim Berry makes a difference.
			Swap out of confusion if you don't have the persim.
		* If Misty ever uses super potion, switch to all Bite.
		* Potion at 14 or less health.
	- Staryu: Mega Kick, then Bite.
		* Swap MK with Tackle.
	- Starmie: MK + Bite + Bite.
> Teach Water Pulse (WP) over Tackle. Heal up above 30, and head for Nugget Bridge.
	- If you want to take the pokemon center, you can. It's just slower overall.
> Rival 2:
		* Torrent after this battle is a good thing.
	- Pidgeotto: WP + WP
		* Sand-Attack is the worst attack. Swap out if you get hit with it.
		* 27 Speed ties.
	- Bulbasaur: Bite + MK
		* Vine Whip does 16.
		* Sleep Powder is a thing. Leech Seed is arguably worse.
		* You can bite twice if he used leech seed and you were at close to 
			full. Swap out otherwise.
	- Abra: Bite (or WP if Torrent)
		* Only move is Teleport.
	- Ratatta: WP (or WG if Torrent)
		* Quick Attack does 6-7.

Route 24-25 (Nugget Bridge)

	- Talk to each trainer if possible, rather than walk in front of them.
	- Torrent is amazing in this section, and will let WP not miss ranges.

Vermilion City:

> Mart: Buy 6 Super Potions (8 if you skipped the Cerulean Mart), 4 Paralyse heals,
	and 3 repels.
> Head to SS Anne.

SS Anne

> Go one tile right and all the way down through the door to get a free heal.
> Head left around the cabins past the stairs and into the kitchen for the can berries.
	* Get Chesto first (last can). Equip it now.
	* Get Cheri and Pecha next.
> Rival 3:
	- Pidgeotto: Bite + Water Pulse. (If SP attack is < 44, WP x2 Instead)
		* Switch out if Sand-Attacked. If you have Paras, switch to Paras first.
	- Ivysaur: Bite + MK
		* Swap out if Leech Seeded.
		* Razor Leaf does 18
	- Raticate: MK OR WP if in Torrent

> Stay left again, and get the Hidden Max Elixir at the end of cycling road.
> Head into Fuschia City, and through to the Safari Zone.

Fuschia: Safari Zone and Koga

> Entrance: Go right to Area 1. Avoid the grass by going around the bottom edge.
> Area 1: Repel on the tile before the first grass.
	- Go right, up, left, up, right, grab full restore item ball. Then up and left.
> Area 2:
	- Left across the grass, up when you reach the sign post, then left, up, right,
		up, left, and down to Area 3. (Repel runs out after the last grass)
> Area 3:
	- Go down and pick up the Gold Teeth. Go right and into the secret house.
	- Get HM04. Exit the house.
> Menu:
	- Teach Surf to Blastoise over Water Gun.
	- Fly to Fuschia. (Yes, you can do that.)
> Bike to the Gym.
> Go along the right path.

	- Hypno: [Surf + Bite + Surf] OR [Surf + Surf] (if in Torrent)
		* Psychic does 36

	- If no torrent, use an x special.
	- Sweep with Surf x4

> Go down after the spinner.
> Before Koga:
	- Equip Pecha Berry.
	- There are 3 strats for Koga. Each has their own setup. You can use rare candies
		to help manipulate your hp.
		A) Heal to 40-60.
		B) Heal to full with full restore.
		C) Heal to 34-40 while staying in Torrent.
> Leader Koga
	- As stated, there are 3 strats.
	- Strategy A)
		* This is the consistently quick strat.
		* With this, set up on Koffing. Koffing will use either sludge or
			smokescreen. You would prefer two sludges, or one sludge and a 
			smokescreen. Koffing can also Self-Destruct, but this is rare.
		* Koffing: X Special + X Special + Surf
		* Sweep the last 3 with Surf.
	- Strategy B)
		* This is "Full Health" strats. Least risk, most turns. Muk can troll with
			minimize, but most likely you won't die.
		* Koffing: Surf
		* Muk: X Special + Surf + Surf
		* Koffing: Surf
		* Wheezing: Bite + Surf
	- Strategy C)
		* This strat is the same as Full Health strat, but without the X Special.
		* Koffing: Surf
		* Muk: Surf + Surf
			= Muk rarely uses sludge. Acid Armor or Minimize is the usual thing.
		* Koffing: Surf
		* Wheezing: Bite + Surf
			= Wheezing does 28-32 with Sludge.
> Bike to the Warden's house and get Strength. Exit the house, and open the menu.
	- Potion if < 40 unless your speed is nearly 85.
	- If it is nearly 85, and you didn't use your candies, use them now.
	- Use a Super Repel.
	- Fly to Pallet.

Cinnabar Island: Mansion and Blaine

> Surf down from pallet, staying on the left side as much as possible.
> Enter the mansion. Repel all through it.
> Go upstairs, then up next set of stairs upwards from those.
> Press the first switch you see, then go down and fall.
> Avoid trainer by hugging left and go down set of stairs.
> Press Switch to the left, then exit out left. Go far left for a spare Full Restore.
> Go around and up, and press the next switch there – there’s a hidden elixir in the 
	switch room, in the opposite position of the switch – grab it.
> Go into adjacent room and receive TM14 Blizzard
> Go left and obtain the Secret Key from the table.

	- Teach Blizzard to Blastoise over Mega Kick.

		* If you miss the first Blizzard, 9/10 times, Erika uses stun spore.

	- Heal to around 90-100.
	- Use an Elixir.
	- Fly to Celadon (Yes, it's faster.)

> Elevator to 5F
> Avoid the Scientist trainer. He walks around, and has a range of 1. Go down to the 
	teleport next to the Grunt.
> Head back through. WALK to avoid the spinner. Get the Card Key. Head back.

	- Arbok: Surf
> Use the card key to enter the gate next to the spinner, then take the teleport.
> Go right, then up, then left through the locked door. Take the teleport.

Victory Road

> Menu
	- Teach Strength over Bite.
	- Teach Earthquake over Water Pulse
	- Use any remaining rare candies on Blastoise
	- Super Repel
> Go around the boulder and use Strength.
> Push down, then right, then up, then right... onto the button.
> Go up the stairs now, hugging the right wall
> Go past the blue hair trainer and go up ladder to the left.
