Red IT testing faq

What are you trying to do?
Beat Pokemon Red as fast as possible, without using glitches.

Why?
I want a break from the glitched runs for a while.

What does IT testing mean?
Some rule changes for Red Glitchless have been proposed, splitting the current category into 2 different ones, one that allows IT, and one that bans Manip and Poke Doll. As part of this, people will be testing the 2 new categories to make sure they aren't shit.

What is the WR?

Where can you save time?
My current PB has a bad early and lategame, and no silph redbar

What is your goal?
1:50, maybe 1:49

What pokemon are used in this run?
Squirtle is used until Brock, and is later taught surf and strength
Nidoran-m is used as the main battler after Brock, as he destroys the rest of the game
Pidgey/Spearow is used as a fly slave
Paras is used as a dig/cut slave

Does this run use any RNG manipulation?
Yes. I manipulate a Nidoran with really good stats (13/15/15/14/15)
I also manipulate 2 paras encounters in mt. moon, as well as trash cans.

Why is x not a glitch, it looks like a glitch to me?
Because the community says so.
