- First set of MKs: Oddish, Oddish, Oddish, Drowzee, (Raticate), Ivysaur, (Raticate)
	> Sometimes need to get Ether and use anywhere after Bill
- Don't need Torrent for Nugget Bridge
- Skip Pecha Berry
- Get Oran Berry with bad HP/Defense (helps mainly with underleveled Koga and Agatha) 
- Skip Ether only with 2 MKs left and Torrent

- Skip Sitrus
- Take Vermilion Mart (8 Supers, 4 Paralyz Heals) unless YOLO. It's ~8s faster than pre-Misty Super Potions, because you skip Rock Tomb and Celadon SPs
- Heal to 20-50 for S.S. Anne Rival, and candy unless L26 helps HP manip
- S.S. Anne Rival (no Torrent): WP+Bite, Bite+MK, MK, Bite
- S.S. Anne Rival (Torrent): WP, Bite(+Super Potion)+MK, WP, Bite
- Never Mega Kick Raichu if 1 SW = Torrent
- Surge: Favor WP on Raichu once it's taken damage (assuming SW = Torrent)
- Second set of MKs: (Raichu), Oddish, Oddish (extend to Martha with 3 remaining)
- Third set of MKs: (Oddish), (Bulbasaur), Oddish, (Ivysaur), (Gyarados), (Gyarados)
- Fight alternate first Hiker in Rock Tunnel if L42 is better than L41 for Blaine

- Get Blackglasses, and equip ASAP
- Celadon Mart:
	> 5F: 5 X Speeds, 21 X Specials, 5 X Accs, 2 Guard Spec.
	> 2F: 8 Super Repels (also 7 Supers if skipped Vermilion Mart)

- Can still candy before Koga if necessary, but must do it after Juggler, which loses:
	> 42 for Weezing
	> 46 for Kangaskhan
	> 51 for Dewgong
	> 52 for Lapras
	> 54 for Gyarados
	> 57 after Arcanine (good)
- Ideally, candy to 44 for second Beauty in Erika's gym (couple with Blizzard teach)
- Viridian Rival: Bite Growlithe
- Lorelei: X Spec x4, Bite+Bite (Surf if low roll), Bite x2, Surf, Bite+Bite+Bite
- Lance: Generally Bite Gyarados turn 1
- Champion: Go to +3, and Blizzard+Bite Gyarados
