- Reset for a Squirtle with 10 Attack, 12 Defense, 10 Speed and 11 Special (or 11/11/10/11)
- Rival 1: Tail Whip, Tackle x4-7
- If you see 11 Attack at Level 6, reset

- Kill any encounter for experience
 
VIRIDIAN FOREST
- If time/stats are good, get the Weedle Guy Potion before the fight
- Weedle Guy: Tail Whip x2, Tackle x4-5

- Fight the Hiker (WG x3)
- Before Rocket, teach Mega Punch over Tackle, and heal to 13+ HP
- Rocket: WG+WG, WG+WG (MP Zubat with 10-11 DV Special)
- Super Nerd: MP+MP, MP+WG, WG+WG
 
ROUTE 4
- Catch Sandshrew if you don't have Paras or Spearow (MP to weaken)

- Take the center, then go to the gym

- Goldeen Girl: TW+MP+MP
- Use a Rare Candy to reach L20, and heal to 50+ HP
- Misty: MP+MP(+MP), TW+MP+MP+MP(+MP)

	> If you have 12 DV Speed, open the menu to Super Repel, toss an item, and bike
 
CINNABAR MANSION
- On repel menu (before second stairs if no Carbos):
	> Use a Super Repel
	> Use an Elixer
	> Toss an item
	> (Use the Carbos with 12 DV Speed)
- Get both candies
- Before getting the key:
	> Teach Strength over Bubblebeam
